Hello there, friends! Here we are already three weeks into 2016, if you can believe it, and it’s been a great start so far. Although I’m a little late on the whole “reflecting back, moving forward” post, I’m sharing anyway!
So let’s start with 2015…
- A new office move! We are very close to our one year anniversary in this space. With the exception of summertime flooding and being a little hard to find, the office has been perfect for us. I don’t know how we were ever in those smaller spaces!
- It was our first full year of being a three person in-office team (hubby CFO R makes 4). I’ve learned a lot about running a business comprised of more than just little ole me.
- West Elm found us! How cool is that?! I still can’t get over that – it was such a fun few days with their big opening and even appearing on Lowcountry Live.
- It was a big year for Charleston in so many ways, but overall I can say the best thing is that, through lots of adversity (come hell or high water, literally!), the community pulled together in the most amazing way every time. Very proud of my home!
And now, we’re off and running for 2016!
I took advantage of the holiday “break” to create a new invitation design guide of which I’m quite proud. It’s exciting to be at a point in the business where we get to do “round two” on these kinds of projects. Having something to build on, to know what worked and what didn’t, and to improve and revise is a little easier than when you first have to come up with something from scratch.
The first few weeks of January are always a busy time for us – something about being in the same year as their wedding gets brides excited & motivated to start talking paper. We love that and we have so many fun projects lined up now, I can’t wait!
I happened to open up my Charleston magazine over the weekend to find out I’m famous, too, which is pretty cool…

Valentine’s Day is upon us, and part of my holiday agenda was to create a few new cards for the lovey-dovey-holiday, which we’ll post here in a few days.
Get ready, I have quite a few posts lined up to share some of what we’ve been up to lately! Cheers to 2016!
